Halloween 2009

This year was a calm quiet year, which was nice. We had a get together at mom and dad's then I took the kids trick or treating with Jake, Brit and Superman, aka Joey.

We tried to get the whole family together, but that wasn't happening so we thought, what the heck we'll just do the kids.

Fun at the State Fair

We continued our family tradition and visited the State Fair. I don't know what funner seeing the booths and animals, or people watching.

We survived our birthdays....almost

We have quite a few birthdays in our family in August. Mine, my dad's and Kyra's. Here are the pictures of our celebrations. I have to thank Brandon for the "burying" of our youth!!

Here are some pictures of us and Dave's family. Dale, Dave's brother left for boot camp on Aug 18th. We are very proud of him, but miss him tons.

My baby is 2, Ugh!!!!!

Well it didn't work, I tried to act like this day was not going to happen, and it did!!! My Daxton Arthur turned 2 today. I can't believe that 2 yrs has passed since he came into our family.

He is a boy through and through, he loves to play with trucks, and balls, and to wrestle, and loves being outside, but even with all that he's my baby boy. He loves to have his owees kissed better and to give the biggest hugs and kisses.

This year we did his birthday in two shifts. His Mammo Bear has a birthday right by his so we celebrated her "29th" birthday and his on Saturday and then with the other side of the family on Sunday.

I've thoroughly enjoyed that last two years and hope that the ones to come will be even better!!!
